Learning to See: Charcoal Drawing Techniques of the Old Masters
Explore the charcoal drawing techniques of the old masters. Using plaster casts of ancient sculptures as our subjects, we will study how to see, measure, and replicate proportions, shape relationships, and the effect of light and shadows.
Appropriate for everyone, this class takes you step-by-step through rendering a finished charcoal drawing of a cast of your choosing and demystifies realistic three-dimensional drawing from life.
Offered quarterly at Bellevue College. See the course catalog and register here.
